F.H. Bertling Logistics has recently completed a complex project cargo loading operation at Abu Qir Port in Egypt. The operation involved six Flying Lead Deployment Frames and four Flying Lead Deployment Baskets, which were loaded onto the heavy-lift vessel MV Fredensborg.

Bertling Logistics’ heavy-lift and engineering experts oversaw the entire process, from trailer loading and lashing operations to securing the cargo on board the vessel. Specialized dunnage, stoppers, and welding work were required to ensure the safe transportation of the cargo.

The Flying Lead Deployment Frames, measuring 6m x 9.60m x 5.10m and weighing 14.7 tons each, are essential components for various industrial applications. The Flying Lead Deployment Baskets, measuring 3.60m x 2.80m x 3.00m and weighing 4.5 tons each, complement the frames and are used in specific applications.

After completing the loading operation, MV Fredensborg set sail for Agogo Port, Luanda, where it is expected to unload the cargo on October 21.
