Blue Water Shipping’s Energy, Ports and Projects division delivered a shipment of crucial cargo for Pennecon’s airport construction project in Qaqortoq, Greenland.

This complex transport operation involved sea freight by heavy lift vessel from Canada to Greenland. The cargo was discharged from anchorage in the southern Greenlandic Bay of Qaqortoq onto landing craft and then transferred to the quayside in Qaqortoq port for onward transportation. Blue Water Shipping handled the entire logistics chain, including customs clearance, agency services, dangerous goods documentation, and on-carriage.

A team from Blue Water was present during the discharge operation to ensure its smooth execution.
