MSC Vietnam’s Project Cargo team has shattered its own record for the longest single piece of oversized cargo ever loaded in the country. A disassembled lifting frame, measuring 31 meters in length when broken down, marks a significant feat in handling oversized and complex cargo on a containership.

This achievement surpasses the previous record set by MSC Vietnam just five months ago. The successful operation strengthens their reputation as a trusted leader in project cargo solutions for Vietnamese businesses.

MSC Vietnam’s team strategically employed innovative handling techniques and specialized equipment to meticulously disassemble and load the massive frame. They prioritized meticulous care and safety protocols throughout the entire process, ensuring the cargo’s integrity during transportation. Notably, this project involved the same client as the previous record-breaking shipment, further solidifying their trust in MSC Vietnam’s capabilities.

Ben Collins, MSC Global Project Cargo Manager, said, “Breaking new records underscores our team’s commitment to excellence and innovative solutions in project cargo. This achievement not only highlights our breakbulk capabilities but also reaffirms MSC Vietnam’s dedication to exceeding expectations while delivering exceptional results for our clients.”

The disassembled lifting frame will travel via the MSC Sentosa service, a direct route connecting Vietnam and Korea.
