TGP add another transformer to the transport tally
Trans Global Projects (TGP) recently collaborated across its Bremen and Houston business units to orchestrate the complex transport of a 94-tonne transformer. This critical equipment embarked on a journey from Poland to its final destination in the state of Texas, USA.
The transformer arrived in Bremerhaven by road from its point of origin in Poland. Following customs clearance and necessary preparations, the transformer was loaded onto a Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) vessel bound for the United States.
Upon arrival in Texas, TGP Houston will take the reins, meticulously positioning the transformer onto its final resting pad. This phase will involve the careful execution of jacking and skidding manoeuvres, ensuring safe and precise placement at the job site.
This project exemplifies TGP’s expertise in handling oversized cargo for transformer manufacturers and project developers worldwide. It certainly adds to an impressive tally of transformers the company has moved.
