TGP ships a tank unit from Durban to Fremantle
Trans Global Projects (TGP) Brisbane, in collaboration with longstanding partner Natco South Africa, coordinated the transportation of an oversized mining equipment item from Durban, South Africa, to Fremantle, Western Australia.
This project encompassed more than just ocean freight. TGP Brisbane managed the entire landside logistics operation for a 35-tonne tank unit for a CAT 777 mining truck. This entailed the heavy lift crane operations in Fremantle port to ensure safe and efficient offloading of the equipment. It also included obtaining necessary road permits for the oversized cargo’s transport within Australia and arranging specialized transport to deliver the equipment directly to its final destination at a mine site in Western Australia.
