Tai An Kou delivers ten more Moray West TPs to Port of Nigg
Earlier this month, Lamprell dispatched the penultimate batch of transition pieces (TPs) from its Hamriyah facility for the Moray West offshore wind project. This is the fifth batch delivered for the Moray West project, with the final set to follow later this year, Lamprell said.
The third and fourth batches have already reached their destination ahead of schedule. The fifth batch was transported by COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers’ vessel Tai An Kou. The vessel delivered ten transition pieces in an upright stowage position from Hamriyah, to the marshalling yard at the Port of Nigg.
The TPs are undergoing transfer-of-care inspections to ensure everything is ready for the client’s offshore installation.
