It is more than likely that everyone in shipping is familiar with the Shipping Ship Shipping Shipping Ships meme. COSCO Shipping Specialized gave it a good go in recreating it. The company’s 80,000 dwt semi-submersible vessel Xin Yao Hua was on hand to deliver. 

The heavy-load carrier completed the float loading of 18 ships in a single day, the company said, adding that the operations set a new record for operations at Fujian Ningde anchorage. The vessel is now on its way to West Africa.

The 18 ships loaded onboard Xin Yao Hua are set to serve the local mineral ore export in Guinea. The vessels loaded include three groups of six barges stacked in two tiers, one barge in a single tier, two floating cranes, and nine tugs of various shapes and sizes.

To accomplish this challenging transportation task, COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers’ port captain team organised several meetings with relevant parties, discussed and analysed the details of the plan, carefully evaluated each step, anticipated risks one by one, and proposed corresponding measures.
