Seashell Logistics ships 1700 tonne RO-Pax Ferry

The Indian logistics group, Seashell Logistics, shipped a 1700 metric tonne Single Unit RORO Pax Ferry, aboard the semi-submersible vessel, Sun Rise in late January.

Built-in 2012, the Sun Rise has a length of 168.5 metres and a width of 40 metres, as well as a gross tonnage of 22,499 tonnes. The cargo was loaded in the Indian Port of Chennai, then shipped to Port of Spain, in Trinidad & Tobago. This cargo is the subject of bilateral trade between the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, and the Republic of Guyana. Seashell Logistics handled engineering, cribbing, sea fastening, Non-destructive testing (NDT), and Marine Warranty Surveys (MWS).
