Dutch family-owned heavy transport specialist, Van der Vlist, played its part in the Fehmarnbelt tunnel project earlier this month. The company delivered the first of two STC HD260c cranes.

The dismantled crane components were loaded at STC’s factory in Coevorden, Netherlands, before being transported to Rodby, Denmark. These cranes will play a crucial role in the construction of the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel, an ambitious 18-kilometre underwater tunnel connecting Denmark and Germany.
