Logistics specialists, Gebrüder Weiss and Broekman Logistics’ India unit joined forces to handle the transport of a 230 metric ton unit from Kandla Port in India to Long Beach, California. The task required precision, expertise and coordination. 

Due to the size of the specific project cargo, coupled with limited vessel availability, the two partners were required to conduct extensive logistical planning, to ensure the cargo arrived at the port of destination without a scratch.

Gebrüder Weiss partnered with Broekman Logistics India Project Division, relying on the latter’s local expertise. Together, the two companies provided comprehensive support, including the marine warranty survey, port operations, and loading supervision, ensuring that all engineering recommendations were meticulously followed.

Upon arrival, the two companies seamlessly coordinated with heavy hauliers and port officials to facilitate the item’s timely delivery to its final destination.
