LASO moves project cargo for various industrial complexes in Portugal
Portuguese specialised transport company, LASO Transportes, has provided services to various industrial complexes across the country. Transports have been planned and executed at night to take advantage of the lower traffic volume, ensuring a smoother and safer operation and minimising truck stops.
Many concrete beams, of various lengths, are transported using trucks that can be up to 60 meters long when combined with their cargo. Dollys are used for these transports because they are perfect for moving heavy and lengthy loads. These devices have rear axles that adjust to the weight of the cargo, ensuring stability and safety during transportation.
It is crucial for the driver and the pilot to communicate effectively during nighttime operations. The team ensures that each stage of the process is carried out precisely to minimize traffic impact and ensure the safety of public road users.
“Above all, the focus is on doing the job well, not harming anything or anyone, and finishing with a sense of duty fulfilled,” say the drivers and the entire team involved in these projects. “Teamwork is essential for everything to run perfectly.”
The combination of specialised equipment with a well-coordinated team ensures the success of these operations, highlighting the company’s commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellence in all its services.
