Logistics Plus transports autoclaves to Little Rock
The Logistics Plus project cargo team recently had to pull out all the stops to move two autoclaves and work tanks from a barge in Houston to the job site in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The company was tasked with receiving the barge to the port of Houston, where the autoclaves have been delivered by BBC Chartering’s 9,310 dwt general cargo vessel BBC Vesuvius. After transferring the equipment to the barge it then headed to the Little Rock river terminal where the autoclaves have been unloaded onto SPMT for the delivery to final destination.
On the way, as you will be able to see in the video below, the company had to navigate some tight turns and remove road furniture to make the 103-ton, and 55.8-ton autoclaves fit. Autoclaves had an overall length of 51 metres and 50.5 metres respectively.
