MacGregor, a division of Cargotec, has secured a substantial contract to supply cargo access equipment for 12 Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs) being built by China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. (CMHI) for CIDO Shipping.

The contract encompasses the design and key components for quarter ramps, side ramps, internal ramps, covers, and liftable car decks, including installation assistance.

CIDO Shipping has a longstanding relationship with MacGregor, having equipped numerous vessels with MacGregor’s cargo access solutions in the past. This latest contract further strengthens the partnership between the two companies.

The delivery of the cargo access equipment is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026 and be completed by the fourth quarter of 2029. This significant order will contribute to MacGregor’s continued growth and success in the marine equipment market.

“We are proud to continue our partnership with CMHI and CIDO Shipping, delivering innovative and reliable solutions that contribute to operational efficiency and vessel performance over the long term,” says Magnus Sjƶberg, Senior Vice President, Equipment Solutions Division, MacGregor. “This order demonstrates our strong customer relationships and reputation for reliability and quality.”
