The project, breakbulk and heavy-lift cargo transport specialist Intermarine has welcomed back a familiar face to its worldwide chartering team in Denmark. The company has appointed Lasse Jensen as Chartering Manager.

“He is no stranger to Intermarine, having previously worked in our Chartering Department for about 2.5 years. After gaining further experience in the sector, Lasse returns with a comprehensive background in chartering and operations across various shipping segments,” the company said in a brief statement through its social media channels.

Intermarine noted that Jensen brings expensive experience in the shipping industry, especially with breakbulk and bulk carriers. His appointment is in line with the company’s ambitions to further develop its business activities in Europe.

It is worth reminding that Intermarine has recently added four heavy-lift vessels to its fleet to enhance connections between Europe, Africa and the Americas, and bolster the company’s transatlantic network.

At the start of the year, the transport specialist expanded its Chartering department in Houston, bringing Lennard Beckmann over from the sister company SAL Heavy Lift where he served as Manager of Chartering & Projects.
