Blue Water secures base services deal extension for INEOS
Blue Water has secured a three-year contract extension with INEOS E&P for its base services at the Port of Esbjerg. According to the company, it is a continuation of the collaboration starting in 2017, that covers a comprehensive range of services, including loading and unloading of vessels, outdoor equipment handling and quality inspections.
“We are proud to have received this extension and to continue our cooperation with INEOS,” says Per Jensen, Global Director of Blue Water’s Port Service Division. Blue Water and INEOS have been working together at Esbjerg Port since INEOS bought the operations of DONG, for which Blue Water had been handling stevedoring activities since 2008.
“The stevedoring work we perform at the harbour for INEOS is not just an operation; we supply the complete logistics. Our yard facility and warehouse are vital components, ensuring seamless cooperation with high standards in stevedoring,” adds Jensen on the significance of the collaboration.
The Port of Esbjerg, one of the world’s largest Energy ports, serves as the global base for Blue Water’s operations. With 450,000 square metres of terminal space and around 50,000 square metres of storage and warehousing facilities, it demonstrates Blue Water’s commitment to providing top-shelf port services.
Blue Water’s recent expansions include establishing permanent terminals in Denmark and other countries, showcasing the company’s agility through its project set-up in deploying specialists and equipment to various locations for terminal setup, operations and project management.
