French logistics company and a unit of CMA CGM, CEVA Logistics has formed a new joint venture with its agent’s owner in Pakistan. The new entity will operate under the CEVA Logistics name starting September 1, 2021.

The newly created entity will operate out of the former WAC offices in Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad, which will be fully branded as CEVA Logistics. The entity’s head office will be at the Karachi location.

The new business will enable customers in Pakistan to leverage CEVA’s global, multi-modal network and will offer them seamless access to a world-leading range of services covering inbound and outbound cargo movements. CEVA Logistics will offer customers in Pakistan a full range of air, ocean, ground, contract logistics, project cargo and Customs clearance facilities.

The company remains committed to a “think global, act local” growth strategy by adding local know-how to its global network through the joint venture. The addition of 31 employees with logistics expertise further supports CEVA’s global end-to-end logistics capabilities.

Khurram Sheikh, new Pakistan country manager, CEVA Logistics, said, “Our team in Pakistan has extensive knowledge of all aspects of the market covering all segments, including fashion and retail, industrial and consumer, enabling us to offer a range of value-added services to our customers. We will continue to anticipate trends and develop solutions to help our customers, expanding our reach and services thanks to the global CEVA network.”
