HGK Shipping Rotterdam BV has appointed Jos Davidse as Chairman of the Management Board, effective January 1, 2025. Davidse will work alongside Andreas Lemme and Egbert Schelhaas to drive the strategic development of the company.

With over three decades of experience in the shipping sector, Davidse brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. His previous experience at thyssenkrupp Veerhaven has equipped him with a deep understanding of operational activities, commercial requirements, and the specific needs of the Rotterdam market.

Davidse’s appointment reflects HGK Shipping’s commitment to expanding its operations in Rotterdam, a strategically important logistics hub. The company aims to leverage its expertise and resources to capitalize on new business opportunities arising from the energy transition.
